The hotel is typical of older Hilton hotels. Security was very good as this was a concern being in the hot spot of the protests. We could not go out on the streets after nightfall but then we were too tired to do that anyway. The room was nice and had a balcony which over looked the busy streets, not a place to sit. One night the protestors marched enforce down the street by the hotel. My room had a broken mini-fridge and one day they used some chemical to clean the room that smelled terrible. The bed was very comfortable, bath was adequate. The biggest issue was that out of the 10 restaurants in the hotel only three were open. The hotel manager told me the hotel is being renovated and will be modernized 'next time we visit'. Overall, there are newer hotels but this one was okay.
