We were really stressed out after reading 100s of negative reviews of hotels in Cairo, including very renowned ones, 5 Star etc. So it was a gamble to go for a hotel with a solitary positive review.
Holidays Express was just the kind of place we were looking for. Neat & clean premises with very humble and loving staff. Each individual longing to make a better effort and make our stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. They were very reluctant to accept tips, I'm serious Guys!

The location was superb and we were spoilt for choices to eat out. Travelling to any part of the city was very convenient as taxis are readily available 24/7. Fares to down-town was economical 10-15 LE

The panoramic view of the Hotel rooftop cafe where they serve breakfast is breath taking. Evening lounge with same panoramic views is relaxing as you can enjoy sheesha and snacks and watch the glitzy Cairo life from the rooftop. This place is very popular with the youngsters.

So if you want a hotel with cleanliness and courtesy bang in the middle of Cairo, this is it.
For those who seek luxury, stay at the Fairmount, Le Meridien or the likes..
