We've just returned from 4 days/ 3 nights at the Witt Istanbul Suites and it lived up to the expectations we had after reading other reviews.

We went for room 61 on the top floor which was just beautiful, with large floor to ceiling corner windows and a great terrace with the most amazing views over the Bosphorus, Golden Horn and across to the Old Town. We wouldn't normally spend much time in our hotel room on a trip like this but it was difficult to tear yourself away.

We didn't see other rooms but I would imagine all would be good, but not all would have as great a view so if that's important to you check with them first about the right rooms if the view is important to you.

We could not fault the service - attentive, quick and extremely helpful when it came to advice for restaurants, sights etc.

We would have no hesitation in recommending and will hopefully go back.

Room tip: Go as high as you can up the building for the best views - there are 6 floors; I would say 61 is best and 62 also very good.

This hotel is quite simply faultless. We spent four nights at the hotel and everyday we were treated with the same level of courtesy and friendliness by the staff, they were never too busy to provide help and advice on the local area. Do use their expertise to help with finding local neighbourhood places to eat. The room was a lovely place to relax, we had a superior suite and we were not disappointed. The room was very spacious, with wonderful contemporary design classics spread throughout. Having your own sink area was wonderfully useful, many a glass of wine was consumed whilst lounging on the sofa. The bathroom was well stocked with more than you'll need of Molton brown products and lovely fluffy towels. The shower was huge and amazing! Breakfast in the smart lounge area was a real high, there was no rushing to get up to get a table as breakfast was served late until 11am and there was always plenty of fresh produce. This is a great design hotel from which to explore the wonderful sights of Istanbul and is walking distance from a lot of great places to eat - just mind the hill on the way back to the hotel, it certainly works the calves! We can't wait for our next visit.

What a beautiful little gem of a hotel in a great location. Breakfast was very yummy and location is easy for access to city tram transportation. Just two stops to the old city. Beautiful view, very modern suites and the service was exceptionally good.

We spent four nights in room 52 - one of the panoramic suites - and it was well worth it. The view was brilliant all day and all night.

The whole place has been put together with great thought and attention to detail. Even though it's been open for 5+ years now everything still feels brand new. None of the signs of wear and tear that you often find these days in hotels even though you are paying quite a lot of money.

The staff are helpful and knowledgeable, and the neighbourhood is atmospheric and full of good local eateries.

We couldn't have asked for more.

Oh and the breakfast is great.

Everything about the hotel is great. The other reviews are spot on. The hotel is in a great neighborhood, walking distance to a lot of cafes, shops, antique stores, etc. Plus it's a few minutes away (by tram) from old town, and that's perfect. Because after a day among one million tourists you just want to go back to your quiet neighborhood and have a glass of wine at the bar.
