I hesitate to write this because I want the Timila to remain exactly as it is: perfect. The owners were courteous and responsive during booking, the car/driver service that they arranged for us was excellent, and I can't say enough about how great Brahim and the staff were. There was nothing they could not do, and no request was too much to ask. The meals we enjoyed on the terrace were delicious. Our rooms were beautiful, yet not over the top - very comfortable and relaxing. The roof-top terrace and hammam are spectacular! We also had in-room massages and while they were nice, the masseuse did not seem to have much experience/training. Also, we did not notice any noise from the medina in our rooms (though we are used to some street noise as NYC residents). I thought the prices were just right, they really do a nice job so it's worth paying a little more than some other riads in the medina, but they are not so expensive as to be out of reach. We later stayed at the Mamounia (a much different experience, to be sure), however we all agreed that we prefer the quaint, inviting Timila. I wish I could have stayed a month, and can't wait to see them again!
