My friend and I spent 4 nights at Dar Ma Ward a week ago and we were blown away. Nadege, Emmanuel, and the entire staff had every single detail covered. It was the perfect escape from the crazy days spent in the Medina. I would go back in a heartbeat just to relax at this riad. The food was also impeccable.

I absolutely loved it. We went to Marrakech to have a relaxing holiday and Dar Ma Ward fulfilled all of that.

Thank you so much to Nadege, Emmanuel & the staff at Dar Ma Ward. I spent my first night in Marrakech & Morocco in your beautiful, peaceful oasis that lies amongst the hustle that is Marrakech. From the airport transfer to the maze of alleyways, Dar Ma Ward guided me to their lovely retreat. I experienced mint tea and dinner in the beautiful courtyard and a restful night's sleep in their beautifully decorated Zefrane room. The bath products made me a fan of Orange Blossom. It was only one night but it was near perfect. Thank you also for the pouff suggestion. Until we meet again...

My husband and I stayed at Dar Ma Ward last week and had a lovely time. The riad is beautifully and lovingly decorated by the owners, Nadege and Emmanuel and is very warm and zen-like. The rooftop terrace is a wonderful place to have the delicious breakfasts that are included in the hotel fare and presumably to have drinks too (altho we didn't get the pleasure of doing so). We stayed in two different rooms at Dar Ma Ward and liked them both though we had a preference for less expensive room on the 1st floor (not ground floor) of the riad, b/c we liked the colours better and there were windows. The only possible downside is that the riad is about a 20 minute walk from the Djema el Fnaa which is the centre of the action in the Medina of Marrakesh. There is little trouble navigating Marrakesh's notoriously maze-like alleys to make your way to the centre, but getting back to the riad from the centre can be a challenge. If you don't mind adventure and aren't put off by getting lost (which you will do anyways, no matter where you stay in the Medina), then this should not be an issue to you. If you are however put off by getting lost, then you may wish to stay in the new city and not in the Medina. Overall, I would highly recommend this riad - it has great value, dedicated owners, friendly staff, delicious breakfasts and is a welcome respite from the chaos that can be Marrakesh.

It was a bit overwhelming for me walking through the alleyway to get to Dar ma ward but once I got inside, I was truly shocked at the beauty of it all. I couldn’t believe the contrast of the two. The room had a very relaxing feel to it decorated with beautiful furnishings from various artists in the area. The service & staff was impeccable. I would totally stay there again. Thank you Nadege & Emanuel for making our stay such a memorable trip.
