Dar el Yasmine is located near the entrance of the medina of Fes (the old city, which is what the city is known for and where all of the sites are located). It is relatively easy to find, with signs along main streets to point to the secluded alleyway where it is located.
It's beautifully decorated, and has an amazing view of the city from the top terrace. The owner is also wonderfully hospitable, and like any Moroccan riad (hotel/inn), you'll be greeted with mint tea on entering.
Unfortunately, the air conditioning was malfunctioning during our stay, and air con is pretty essential in Fes (in July, it's normally 85-95 degrees all through the night), making it a pretty uncomfortable evening.
Other than that problem, it was a beautiful, well-located hotel with kind, welcoming staff, and I'd visit again with a guarantee of functional air conditioning.
