A beautiful old tradional family home. Excellent place to stay with children and for couples. There are a lot of stairs though, right up to the roof top. Very friendly staff, wifi downstairs in the enclosed courtyard, where breakfast is served as well as meals you can order. We went for a short walk to a local chicken place recommended by the owner. He showed us the way! This is also where the market is at night and all the locals shop. We had dinner there on both nights, very cheap and excellent Moroccan food.
The rooms were decorated with mosaic tiles, walls and staircase alike and many windows opening unto the courtyard. We had a room for sitting and 2 beds were made up for sleeping. Stairs inside the room take you up to the double bedroom area.
The only downside is the airconditioner. It blew out air, but not cold enough. It stayed quite hot during the night, resulting in having to open the windows to the courtyard. We were there in the hottest time of the year, so in the cooler months there shouldn't be any problem. The owner organised a guide to take us one day into the medina and to places of interests. Also helped organise our 2 day tour to the Shara desert and Atlas Mountains.
