On first impressions the Riad is a jewel in a desert. It is a beautifully decorated place with heavy islamic influence on its architecture, flooring and wall design. A must see. The rooms complement the busy design of the common areas and are beautiful and cosy. Hot water and a/c was well functioning 24/7. The rooms and bathrooms were clean.
We required access for a wheelchair user. The room was comfortably spacious but the bathroom not fully accessible. There is no lift in the riad however we were accommodated wonderfully by having breakfast and dinner in the central yard of the home on the ground floor. For those who have access to the roof they could enjoy a beautiful view of the whole medina and more.
The food was genuine Moroccan cuisine. It was very good and freshly cooked. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were given a very good service, we couldn't have asked for anything better!
I would highly recommend this place for travelers seeking a tranquil Riad within the old medina, yet still very central to all amneties. the Bab is just a stone throw away making it easy to find entry and exit into the Riad.
