Spent one night here en route to airport. It was definitely on the more affordable side of listings (about 70 bucks) but as others say, NOT a four-star hotel. Lobby is nice, bar/restaurant decent, but the room was bad. Bathroom cabinets missing knobs/handles, cover plates falling off electrical outlets, noisy & ineffective air conditioner that dripped water on the carpet making a musty smell, peeling paint, dingy carpet, very inconsistent internet, cable TV signal kept fading out. When I checked out and still owed a 40 dirham room tax, the desk clerk wouldn't break a 100 dirham note for me, acting like it was a huge inconvenience to him & making me rummage for a 20 note and two 10 dirham coins which I was hoping to keep for cab fare and tips. What kind of hotel can't break a what is basically a 10 dollar bill? A lousy one, that's what. This is like some Econolodges in rural America at best.
