The hotel and surrounding are luxurious, the staff very friendly and helpful. The golf course is superb. The hotel food is good, not excellent.
The problems start when you have half board. Since the hotel is in the middle of no-where, you must eat in the hotel, every day, every meal. The menus are limited, they do have a different daily set menu. But the cost for a simple meal, like a sandwich or a salad is enormous, and there is NO choice. Club sandwich, or mixed salad.
The services are haphazardness, one night the bed turn down service leaves chocolates, then for a few days they don't.
Breakfast buffet is inadequate, for example, they only make sunny side up eggs, an only during the weekend will they serve bacon. No scrambled eggs, no ham, etc.
It looks like there are several companies operating in the resort, each individually with little communication between themselves.
The rooms are fine, even the junior suite is nice and comfortable. Staff are very friendly and will do anything to get you what you need.
Since you're in the middle of no-where, you should only stay here if you're playing golf. The excellent spa area is not enough to keep you interested. The shuttle bus to the other tikida hotel is infrequent, and not adapted to use to go sightseeing or eating outside, ie, the bus leaves at strange hours, forcing you to stay in the hotel.
