It really shows that the management and staff at this hotel work their socks off to make guests' visit as happy and enjoyable as possible. All 'levels' will bid you good morning and we found all staff to be polite and courteous. On arriving we were welcomed with bubbly and quickly booked in to the room, which faced the sea. Room was well appointed and the beds really comfortable.The hotel is in an excellent position overlooking a very wide sandy beach. Hotel grounds are beautiful and well maintained, as are the pools which some brave souls managed to swim in . The indoor pool could have been a bit warmer, and it was salt water which was a bit of a surprise, but there are very efficient hot showers in the pool area which was a plus.
And the food! I cannot agree with the previous reviewer's view of 'cafeteria' standard meals- imo the food was excellent. It was plentiful, varied and freshly cooked and it seemed 'on tap' whatever the time of day. All the food is cooked from scratch by the army of kitchen staff. As for drinks, no, you won't see brand names but we and all the other people we met were more than satisfied with the quality and choice.
Agadir itself is short on 'real Morocco' but there are trips out to see what's going on beyond the four (extensive) walls of the hotel. Get out there and have a look!!

All inclusive but bear in mind that the drinks are not top shelf, the meals are not spectacular and are actually of a cafeteria quality, buffet style and the rooms are minimalistic. For example the tables and sofa are actually poured cement. On the plus side, though it is farther from town it has a nice beach front location, the staff is accommodating but only to the point where they are overwhelmed by the sheer number of guests that range from French, English and German cost conscious tourist to group tours. You won't see the "beautiful" people here but that could be a plus.

I celebrated my 50th & was pleasantly surprised by the wonderful treatment I was given by all the attentive staff, from breakfast to dinner! A great group of staff & the cleanliness of the hotel...not forgetting the vast choice of food has made our stay one to remember for years to come. I'm returning in September with my daughters and grandchildren. I highly recommend the Riu Tikida Dunas to anyone looking for a relaxing break.

great hotel fantastic location.food excellent always hot and most of it cooked in front of you staff always ready to help. the manager is always around and loves to talk to you. for a full sea view ask for 5 block we had room 5203 it was nice to hear the waves at night! for a view of the pools and sea block 4 one down side THE FRENCH THEY think they are the only people there rude to the staff they cannot say anything but if english do they get the message. tip buy tobacco on plane going and if you need more the duty free at the airport their are 2 but compare prices first!!
