“Excellent value for money”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

If you come for the sun and the beach, this is the perfect hotel just to stay somewhere for a night. This is certainly not a five star place, but for this price you have breakfast and dinner, and a swimming pool... I cannot tell you about the quality of the SP, since I did not go, but it seemed to be packed. It is a pleasant walk to the beach (half a mile). Since I travel alone, I was looking for something comfortable and convenient. You feel free and there are a lot of very nice restaurants around. You can even enjoy breakfast outside... The prices are very reasonable. Even reommended for the young, nothing fancy, but quite cheap. Beware though, shampoo and bath stuff is not provided...

“Good value & Location”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

Stayed January 2012 for third time with my elderly mother. We find this hotel in an excellent location for touring the local area by car during the day and the local moroccan restaurants on foot by night; the decor and facilities are dated but there is a clean good sized pool with plenty of sunbeds. We found the staff friendly and helpful if you ask for something (eg: a bedside reading light) you get it straight away. The food remains poor however and dinner is best avoided.

Room Tip: Rooms above restaurant overlooking pool as the sunniest in winter

“Ok hotel”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 December 2011

I was there in October - and my first expression were OK - nothing special. The room were fine. The bathroom were okay also. I dont think this hotel has something speciel to offer. They have a pool which are nice. It's okay if you are stayig in the hotel for a few days. My parents and I stayed for 2 nights.
The breakfeast is so SAD.. They have like nothing to offer. They serve Pork? I thougt it was wierd, since we are in a muslim country. Another thing that was annoying was the cleaning ladies! They knocked on the door about 10 o'clock to see if they could come in! They should make another "cleaning" system - fx. when we leave the keys in the reception or make a sign to put on the door. My next visit to Agadir will be to another hotel!

“Basic and Very Unfriendly”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 November 2011

This could be a good Hotel if it was not for the Management and Receptionists who are totally rude and ignorant. We booked a week which just happened to coincide with a Fishermen's conference and the place was packed for the week-end.
The bedroom was clean and adequate with breakfast consisting of rolls, bread, jam, honey and Coffee. The Evening meals were so small and over priced that you have to eat another meal outside.
On the few occasion I was waiting at the reception and although I could not understand what was being said I could see from the body language and tone of voice that the receptionists were being very aggressive to the Fishermen who I have to say looked as though it was there first time ever in a Hotel and did not know what to do.
On the second night of staying we had arranged for a Moroccan friend to meet us in the bar and received a phone call to say he was at the front door of the Hotel. When I arrived at the door my friend had been stopped from entering the building by the door security and when I asked the manager why, he said they did not allow local visitors into the hotel. When I put to him that if he did not allow visitors why was his bar full of prostitutes entertaining the Fishermen, which he denied, he then became aggressive and told me if I was not happy I could leave which we did, finding another Hotel for the remainder of the week. If you are willing to turn a blind eye to what is happening in this Hotel then it's a cheap place to stay but do not expect too much attention or courtesy as it’s just not there.

“Good holiday BAD Hotel really BAD”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 October 2011

Summary:
Dirty: bedding with stains and hair, and do not even know where to begin with the bathroom limescale, rust, cracked seats, mould.

Note: I have stayed here before, last year and it was nothing like this, previsoulsly I could agree with the other reviews that it was fine to use as a base and you get what you pay for.. Having returned this year I was in total shock it was that bad I had to check out early and stay somewhere else

Good point: the STAFF are amazing, so helpful, polite and could not do enough.

we went as a group of lads and we know how to 'rough' it belive me when I say this I loved the staff but please do not make the mistake we did.
