“Super friendly”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 February 2012

That was our honey moon trip We have stayed on sixth floor in room 6020 – pool side. Room was a bit outdated but with big balcony and great view on the beach and pool. However I would prefer room with view on the hill with Kazba and flashing sign.
The all-inclusive cuisine was pretty good with lots of options. Great pool bar with pizza. I suggest also dinner in Tajine restaurant. Lobby very spacious with many sofas and free wifi. Hotel location is also very good - walking distance to marina or kings palace, lot of shops and “suk” around.
Staff super friendly and very attentive to your needs, managers very welcoming and helpful too.
There is a animal park next door, so you can hear birds, donkeys etc sounds early morning.
Main roads in both sides of the hotel are also very noisy during day and night also!!

Room Tip: Rooms on the pool side are much quieter. Ask for room in higher floors and definitely not in bungalo...

“Fantastic Holiday”

Returned from The Albatros 26/01/2012. My partner and I had no idea what to expect having not visited Agadir. The Hotel is great, good position, we had a spectacular view of both sea and the wonderful mountain that was lite at night along with the beech wow what a view. The Staff are great and a special mention to Ami the aminater, what a lad always happy not over bearing, polite and full of local knowlege he makes your day with his attitude. Food , well if you moan about this selection then do not go on holiday, the breakfast enough for the day , lunch and diner all good. Booze ,you good drink yourself to death if you wanted. Service great tip the waiters and bedroom staff they deserve it.General Manager always on the ball and to hand. Can not wait to go back. Alan and Anita COVENTRY

Room Tip: Higher the better for views and ask for a mountain view.

“Friendly staff, good location, clean”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 January 2012

The only negative things I have to say about this hotel is that the furnishings etc. were a bit outdated and the Stork beer (the only beer they had) is horrible.. :-) Other than that the staff were very friendly and service-minded. We especially appreciated the guy in charge of entertainment - he's full of energy and made sure everyone was happy. (However, the music around the pool was a bit too much/loud at times when we were trying to read.) The rooms were clean, the shower was working fine and we got a big balcony overlooking the beach. The all-inclusive food was pretty good with lots of options. The hotel is close to the beach, promenade and bars/clubs. I wouldn't recommend going to restaurants outside the hotel - we tried, but the restaurants in Agadir aren't too great so I would just stick to the free food.

“Great Hotel but one or two unfortunate points”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 January 2012

Like most people who have stayed here and reviewed, I have to say the staff are brilliant, and very attentive to your needs. The drinks are plentiful and the food is good if not a bit repetitive, but you wont go hungry. We did not eat anywhere else during our stay.
3 points to note. One the Hotel can do something about and 2 which are out of their hands.
The first is that I you are located at the back of the Hotel facing the Casino and are in Rooms 011 to 023 on each floor (first digit is your floor number) you are likely to be woken at 6.45am by the Hotel Kitchen extract fan starting up and blowing away for a couple of hours.
The second is that there is a venue nearby which starts blasting out loud and I mean loud music from midnight until about 2,00am.
The final point is that the main round that this fronts on to is constantly busy 24/7, so you are aware of it.

That said we had a great time, Clean rooms and clean hotel in general and a good shopping centre with market about 500m away, Marina nearby and animal park next door whis is free.
The

Room Tip: Avoid 011 to 023 on each floor.

“Friendly four stars in great location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 January 2012

It was with trepidation that I set off on an All Inclusive last minute week's holiday with a friend and her toddler. I was delighted and surprised by this hotel, yes a couple of reviews said it was a bit dated as it was originally a Sheraton that had seen better days however the facilities were great, location great, the hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff were incrediblely kind and thoughtful.

The hotel sits on a bluff overlooking the corniche just set back from the promenade, which is a great place to stroll; the pools are fun and just the right size for kids and adults alike, sadly the kids pool is not heated so the toddler did not get much more than his feet wet. However bang next door to the hotel is the Parque d'Oiseaux which has a small zoo, a huge walk-in birdcage and a very good playground. There is also a beach area set aside for hotel guests which we did not discover till too late but it looked fine and would be a popular option in the summer.

A final word should go on the hospitality, the food was really very goood but for us the fun was in the brief but amusing entertainments that took place every night for about 20 minutes in the main bar, acrobats with the best 6 packs were the highlight of our stay but I think that the toddler went for the magicians and the parrots; belly dancing was a hit too!

All the staff really make an effort to ensure that you have a relaxed and fun holiday, well worth the money.
