For a waterpark this is a sad excuse. Far too much shallow water, little opportunity to swim for exercise and lifeguards who are constantly harping at you for one thing or another. Heck you can't even splash your own child. This city had wonderful pools back int he 60, 70, 80s. Then the city demolished teh pools and the park district stepped in. They wanted to build this park but it failed on a referendum ballot. But true to form the corrupt city of Aurora stepped in and granted the park district the money to build this monstrosity on the backs of the objecting taxpayers. We tried to get our money's worth taking our children to swim lessons when small but they were totally inept teachers more concerned about diversity and social justice then teaching swimming. I attempted to teach my children to swim myself at the water park in the evening but the lifeguards kept interfering. So I ended up teaching them to swim at a local hotel over the weekend where I could operate without a bunch of children pretending to be adults (lifeguards) interfering.
If you want a real waterpark there is a good one in Yorkville.
