Our stay in the Diamond House was a very enjoyable. It is a unique experience that we look forward to doing again. The hosts were great and the food was just fabulous.

This was our first B&B we had ever stayed in and it was different but not in a bad way. Our room was very cozy and clean but no tv and since everything closes very early (like 5pm) we got very bored. Breakfast was not my cup of tea (lots of veggies, and flowers and herbs from the garden) where was the bacon and eggs?? but it could be for someone else.All and all a good trip but i would choose to leave before breakfast unless they serve yogurt pancakes or chocolate waffles they were AMAZING!

We stayed in a beautiful room that had a huge arch window that overlooked the gardens in the back yard. All of the food was wonderful, each dish was decorated with flowers, herbs and greenery from the garden and served on delicate china. The white iron bed was perfect and comfortable. This was a perfect place for the weary travelers we were....nine hours on the road!

The Flower Patch and Diamond House B&B's (side by side) are quite a surprise to find in this little berg. Very pretty, nice gardens - and the breakfast is very special with some unique - and delicious - dishes prepared by your host. Don't worry, you will get your Amish sausage along with lots of fruit and vegetables, nice baked goods, and home-made jams. If you have time, take a side trip out in the country around Arcola to see the Amish farms and visit the Amish general store.
