This is a wonderful hotel. The fitness center and whirlpool are great. The free breakfast is great and includes, fersh fruit, eggs sausage, toast waffles, yogurt, juice, coffee, etc., etc. The staff is friendly. The room is very nice. I had a king room no smoking which included a large open area with a lounge chair and desk with high speed internet. All the details in the room were perfect. This is a very nice place to stay.

I will never in my lifetime stay at another Wingate inn. ESPECIALLY the one in Augusta GA on Gordon Highway. I stayed 2 nights and this hotel charged my credit card 3 different times for over $1700 dollars. This is where the nightmare began. There might as well be no general manager for this hotel b/c he did absolutely nothing to help correct the matter. I tried to correct the charges the day i checked out and even asked to speak to the manager and the manager shut his door and would not come out. The front desk employees as well as the manager should be in the unemployement line. I have had to call numerous numerous times, fax a copy of my credit card statement, and still the charges aren't correct over a month later. I am filing a complaint with the better business bureau for Georgia about this hotel as well as disputing the charges. Also, i am going to send a letter to the Board of directors for this hotel chain to express my problems. My wish is that this hotel will close, or the front desk employees as well as the manager be replaced. THIS HAS BEEN A NIGHTMARE!

Hotel itself is in good shape and good location right off I 520. However had some issues:
- desk chair was very stained and they replaced with another dirty chair; desk phone did not work; iron was missing from room and hotel had no milk for breakfast one morning.
Bed and linens however were very comfortable. I would rank bed with 4 star hotels.
Free Wireless in rooms is a plus.

Very Nice and Clean hotel. Very Intelligent Staff. Me and MY Husband stayed at his Hotel Traveling from Atlanta the Hotel Is located in a very good nice and safe area. The rooms Were nice and clean. the price was a little expensive but well worth the stay . The Breakfast was AWESOME it wasa full breakfast with bacon and eggs not just bagelsand cereal like most hotels and they actually have a evening social  WHICH THEY HAVE HOT WINGS SWETISH MEATBALLS  IT WAS ALL INCLUDED IN THE PRICE . i WOULD LOVE TO STAY AT THE HOTEL AGAIN THE NEXT TIME I'M IN THE AREA.
