Quiet spot, the cottage seemed more interesting than the motel rooms on site - we had great views of the bay, short walk to town. Perfectly adequate continental breakfast was delivered to our room the day before. We also enjoyed a special appetizer and chanpagne welcoming package, a nice start.

Stayed a couple of nights. Had the apartment. It was cozy and nice. Casual and friendly service. Even the taxi from harbour on arrivel and back on departure was included.We enjoyed our stay. Jorn Lindberg, Denmark.

Stayed in the Honey moon suite was told it was very private secluded cottage and that they had a spa pool unfortunately the spa pool is at another lodge about 1.5 km from this one the cottage had people on three sides with anyone walking down the drive looking straight into the unit
The neighbours behind had decided to have a few drinks so there was very little peace and quite
the lodge accommodation looked great but as for the cottage sorry but i would look else where
$550 for two night is way to high for this style of accommodation
Good veiws but not vaule for money at all

We stayed in the Studio Suite which is OK but not great (only water for example in bathroom vs kitchenette), no kitchen sink. Because its upstairs when someone is downstairs in the self contained apartment you can hear the TV, feel/hear them going up and down the stairs, hear talking, etc. That really lets the place down.
The hosts who are based at Punga Lodge which they also own are very helpful and staying at Punga Lodge will see you receive first rate hospitality. Unfortunately, the studio suite didn't meet our expectations on our stay and won't be returning to Tawa Lodge.
