We stopped here for a night between motueka and catching a ferry in picton. The location is very remote in the 'town' linkwater but lovely scenery and close to queen Charlotte walk. We had the entire backpacker unit to ourselves which has a spacious kitchen and numerous bathrooms. All very clean and well equipped. Our double room was quite small but clean and we had a lovely view out to the orchards. Owner was nice and helpful and told us where nice walks and drives were to see the sounds. Lots of free parking. Laundry machines available but no dryer. Internet available at a cost.

Arrived late and were welcomed by Katerina the co owner who showed us to our warm and comfortable rooms. She extended her hospitality by letting 2 of our group into her own sitting room to watch a rugby match which wasn't on motel room tv. great location about 20mins outside picton. Katerina gave us advice on routes to drive and things to do in area. Fab host and great motel.

We stayed one night on our way to the Marlborough wine region. A lovely location. We had a one bedroom chalet. It was very clean with a well fitted kitchen.

This is a wonderful motel in a fantastic location. We were late arriving and despite this, we were warmly welcomed by the co-owner Pat. Without any fuss, and in a heavy shower, he helped us to our warm, comfortable room. Nothing could be improved with this motel! Pat and his wife Katerina made our stay one of the best in New Zealand, and were always on hand if we needed anything (often volunteering information initially).
They are in a perfect location if you are heading to/from the Picton ferry, and are beside the start of the marvellous Queen Charlotte Track.
Cannot be recommended highly enough!
