This is the worst hostel I have ever stayed in. Got so many bites from staying there just a few nights. Even the staff are covered in bites but they don't seem to care.

The fridge is filthy with broken eggs and spilt food all over the floor. It is dangerous to keep food in. The ovens constantly leak gas. SAFE!

It needs shutting down

The hostel is in one of those old, charming buildings that could be incredible and beautiful if someone were to just put some money and time into renovating this building. The problem is that there has been no upkeep for what appears to be a really long time. We booked a private room, knowing that the place had some bad reviews-- the but price and the location swayed us to give it a try. The place is falling apart, the beds are old, the furniture is mostly broken, and the entire facility is dirty. Even the bedsheets had holes in them. The bathrooms were filthy, with clogged drains, rusted out showers and filth ridden floors. I don't think they even own a vacuum cleaner- we saw one of the staff members sweeping the carpet in the hallway, There were dead cockroaches in the oven. So sad, because it COULD be a wondful place if someone cared to make it that way!

We stayed for one night only and my boyfriend was bitten by bed bugs. Horrible atmosphere, grumpy staff and smelly rooms. In the end we had our money back, which was the only good thing!

it's a quiet and roomy backpacker with good size for bedrooms,
a free parking, a good location (close to the city centre and the train station)
the showers are hot

BUT
I wouldn't recomend this hostel : (

internet access is expenssive
there are BED BUGS in every rooms it's HORRIBLE and the staff don't care
Bedrooms are NEVER NEVER cleaned
the kitchen is very dirty, with many cockroachs
the building is very old, not good looking
and very cold in winter
