It is a great pleasure for me to write this review. This place is absolutely superb, no words can describe it. We’ve visited this place last summer, in august, a family trip, stayed for a week. We’ve simply felt more than like home, the hosts were simply incredible. So kind, so helpful, so…much joy all the time.
This place is a big garden, with nice vegetation, a small swimming pool, the guests house, and a romantic terrace, where breakfast is served. The rooms were simply wonderful, nice decorated, very comfortable beds, well equipped bathroom. The breakfast was a 6 star experience, with excellent omelets/fried eggs with both salmon and bacon, fresh orange juice, chesses, salamis, jams, everything very very tasty; not only the food was superb, but the place where the breakfast was served was completely charming! This is a place where you really feel like in heaven.
Tips: the nearest beach is 4 minutes drive away, would recommend the rental of a car, the area is fantastic!
Pluses: hospitality, breakfast, garden
Minuses: no way!
Would recommend this splendid place without a doubt for anyone!

It's a delayed review but better later than never. We stayed for 3 nights in Oct 2010. I was apprehensive while approaching the place as one review stated you needed a 4x4 to get to the house. Nonsense!One can walk up that hill without even panting! The house is amidst an orange tree plantation, plenty of scented and colourful trees and bushes even end of October. You definitely need a car to go there as it's in a small village off the main road. Room was spacious with all you need, very comfortable bed. The host very helpful, lovely breakfast which you can have indoors or outdoors. Lounge is not luxurious but very cosy and comfortable where we spent long hours chatting in the evening to other guests or reading. We drove to Lagos, Faro, Tavira and other places exploring the Algarve as well as Seville in Spain which is about 90 min drive / a wonderful city worth visiting!/.

We selected it for the last part of our tour in Portugal. We were looking for a calm, relaxing and "caring" place. The house is cute and really calm, but the room was little and furnished with cheap elements. maybe breackfast is the best thing: you can have it in the garden under many trees and plants. The breakfast includes: ham, salame , orange juice from their oranges, cheese, ... The couple of owner were funny and kind. The pool is very very very little.
Finally... we expected more!

Very nice house. They make you feel like at home. It is a bit outside Tavira, so you need the car to get to the town, but the house is really nice. Lovely breakfast and very relaxing atmosfere.
