We arrived late in Druskininkai after a visit to the Soviet monuments museum at Grutas Park and decided to stay. We looked at a few hotels in the center and this appeared to be the best by far, better than certain more expensive properties. Best Western Central did not disappoint in any way. The hotel consists of an older part, the 100+ year old Central Hotel facing the street, and a newer wing right behind it but you won't notice the difference as they are joined together rooms appear to be exactly the same, maybe slightly bigger in the new wing. Very comfortable beds, great staff and good breakfast contribute to the positive experience and I know this will be my first option if/when I ever return to Druskininkai. Simply great.

The room was big with a desk and a table and chairs. The bathroom included a bath. The location was great. The breakast was good.

It is very peaceful there and I slept well especially after I had a massage one evening by the hotel's massuese. There were various treatments to choose from all at fairly reasonable prices. I thoroughly recommend a massage should be passing through.

I didn't indulge but there's a sauna and steam room that guests can use for free between 8 am and 10 am. After that the facilities are available but a charge.

The receptionists were everso helpful. They phoned for must times and prices for me and wrote out phrases in Lithuanian that I needed to use when I was out and about.

There is a bar, restuarant and terrace. These are very functional but not that attractive. They are what you'd find in an old fashioned hotel and didn't seem to be in keeping with the rest of it.

Took a weekends' break to relax in Druskininkai and chose this hotel to stay at. I loved it from the first sight and all the way through - from the light tiled reception to the room itself. The hotel is modern and cosy but it holds a history within itself too.
We loved our room which was pretty big and spacious. The bathroom was just great and everything worked perfectly, it was a pleasure taking a shower. Clean and spotless too. The beds really comfortable. Free jacuzzi and a small sauna downstairs in the morning, though we didn't go for it.

The breakfast room pretty spacious and we loved the choice a lot. We were completely satisfied with what was on offer for breakfast.The pancakes were to die for! I've taken some pictures which I'll attach with thie review.

Free wifi internet was a nice extra. You can go in for various massage services in this hotel, but we didn't take a chance. Maybe next time :-)

Location is perfect! Small, but nice spa, elegant room and good breakfast. Moreover, good value for money =)
