We decided to get "of the beaten track" in Estonia and visit a few smaller towns rather than just stay in Tallinn. As the 3rd largest city in the country, Narva seemed an obvious choice to include on our itinerary.
We arrived from Tallinn on a bus, and the hotel is a good 10-15 minute walk from the Bus station - although its a scenic and pleasant stroll. Upon arriving at the Central, we were efficiently checked in by an English-speaking lady on reception, who also gave us advice about places to eat and drink around town, as well as what there was to see.
The rooms were quite spacious and adequately equipped with comfortable bed, plenty of wardrobe space and a TV. The shower was warm and powerful and shower gel etc was provided.
A minor point, the room was not cleaned nor the bed made while we stayed there. While this was only 1 night, it was not a problem. I believe that you had to put the 'Please make up room' sign on the door handle when you left in order for the room to be serviced. So don't forget if you want your bed made!
Although breakfast was included in the rate, and was served until 11am, we went out early so didn't try it.
Overall, a nice little hotel in a good location for the sights of the town. Recommended.
