We used this hotel and can recommend it for situation, an easy stroll in to the old town of Riga.
Breakfast is excellent with a good wide choice, buffet style.
Clean quiet room, and the top floor cocktail bar is well worth a visit for the panoramic views across Riga.

Stayed at the Albert Hotel during my business trip to Riga. The hotel is centrally located and is just a short walk away from all the major attractions (Old Town, major shopping areas, etc). Rooms are well maintained and the minibar is stocked adequately.
The highlight of the stay was the breakfast buffet which was huge with so many different options.
All in all a very satisfying stay and no complaints whatsoever. Would thoroughly recommend the Albert Hotel and would stay there again myself if I get a change to visit Riga again.

What a pleasant surprise this hotel in Riga! It may not look great from the outside, but inside there is atmosphere and joy to be found. The Albert Hotel is based on Albert Einstein and this theme returns everywhere in the building. The design is slick and modern, but warm and soothing when needed, like in the restaurant. Which, by the way, has a very good and solid menu.

The room have a descent size and comfort level. The bathroom is good, just bring your own shampoo. Breakfast is plentiful and well assorted. The hotel itself is located about 15 minutes walk from the city center or five minutes with a taxi.

There is also a sky bar, not too big, but nice. Saves a walk to the Radisson.

Used this hotel during a business trip to Riga and I would recommend it for both business and pleasure. It is a 15 minute walk to the Riga Old Town and city centre.
Rooms adequate, clean and bathroom same.
Breakfast is buffet style with plenty of choice. Evening meals are also good with good choice on menu.
