This place came recommended, and you can see why. It's a while since we stayed here, but it was definitely an experience. It really made the trip in a certain respect.

The major up side to this is the location, in the heart of the old town, near everything you go to Tallinn to see.

The rooms are basic, but decent - although I was a little perturbed by the mirrored headboard.

Breakfasts were basic, but filled you up for the day.

I was impressed that for such a small place (3 rooms), they had a 24 hour reception.

Why interesting then? Well, the day we arrived we had to sleep in a different room as the one we'd booked was being used by the very drunk owner. Not an issue - was a free upgrade for the evening.

I do remember hearing a lot of arguments. Fortunately, not when we were trying to sleep.

This place will be like Marmite - you'll either love it or you'll hate it.

HORRIBLE.We booked this last August for laulupidu this coming July. Today they called me and said that they are not going to offer the room anymore I asked thereason and she couldn't say, because they have several properties and didn't know what the particulars were. This awful, I booked far in advance because of the difficulty in getting rooms. Now we won't find anywhere in town to stay at this late date (May).
Do not trust them to keep your reservation.

We enjoyed staying at the Romeo Family Hotel (Apartments). We stayed one week. Enjoyed the breakfast very much. Had a nicely sized two bedroom apartment with a kitchen and a nice sized bathroom. We could come and go as we wanted. Did have to remember to bring the front door key as the front door was locked. Try to get an apartment not overlooking Suur Karja as it was noisy at night with revellers but otherwise quite peaceful. Easy access to old town and the center of town. We plan to stay here again on our return to Tallinn.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment on Sur Karja. It was very large, clean and well furnished. We would definitely stay their again.
