I was in Tallinn in May 2011 and went first on a day trip to the Lahemaa Nationalpark with our guide Andrew. Although he is from Australia, he told us a lot of interesting things about Tallinn and Estonia, so thumbs up for that. Secondly the tour we went on took me to places, I would not have seen or maybe even found on my own. We saw Viru raba, had lunch in the middle of the Estonian countryside, saw the Palmse manor and a couple of places next to the sea with beautiful nature sceneries. We finished off at Jägala to see a small waterfall, but charming anyway.
A couple of days later, I went on the guided tour of Soviet Tallinn. The guide was a young Estonian woman who spoke English and was well informed. The trip took about 4 hours, and I saw quite some places that tell the story of Soviet occupation of Estonia. If you are into history, then don't miss this tour!

Wonderful personally designed East and West tours of Estonia! A nice personal touch, when arriving and leaving a destination point, Andrew never takes the same route, but offers varying persepctives, viewpoints, and panoramic photo opportunities.

We booked a few days in advance via internet. Altough the scheduled trips ended on 30 September, Andrew offered a private tour for me and my girlfriend. He picked us up at the hotel at 10 a.m. And the tour lasted unti 7p.m.

We saw old manor houses and Toolse castle. We had a nice lunch at at hotel in the beautiful landscape. At Rakvere castle we were the only visitors at the time and got a private show by a guide of the castle: gunpowder making, shooting with a muskete and the torture chamber. We saw a old soviet town and industrial area.

We recommend to visit not only Taliinn but also see beautiful surroundings.

The guide was great. We learned lot about Estonia and the live during the day. On the other hand we had also time to discover the things by our own.

Andrew thank you for the great day. We have left Tallinn with great memories and surely will come back.

This review is a few weeks late; however, here it is. I signed up for two day tours (Eastern Adventures and Western Wonders) back in September. Andrew (owner/guide) is a very knowledgeable guide and both tours were enjoyable as well as educational. I especially liked how the group size is purposely kept small and the history of Estonia was tied in with the tours. The itineraries were well organized and put-together.

Andrew, if you read this, there's is one recommendation I have for you (maybe you're already thinking about it or working on it). Perhaps you can incorporate the different cultures of Estonia in your tours or build some tours that focus on culture.
