Wow, what a beautiful place! We wanted quiet, family accommodation, not too pricey in Vilnius, with easy parking as we were driving round the Baltic States and this was just perfect.
It also had a washing machine, which was really useful halfway through the holiday, just to freshen up our clothes.
We had a spacious 2-storey appartment, which was exquisitely decorated (unlike Konventa Seta in Riga - see my comments) with light wooden floors, and trendy furnishings, flat screen tv, in fact everything you could want.
Ameda Guest House a new house, built in a traditional style in a charming neighbourhood of old wooden houses from the late 1800's. There are moves to protect the houses in this area to save them from redevelopment. It's about a 15 minute walk downhill in to central Vilnius, but there are buses and trams going that way and as we didn't want to take the car into the city, the taxi fare back was only £6.
We ate at a local restaurant on Kestucio Gatve when we arrived, which was great and very handy, but ate in the city the next day when we did our main site-seeing.
Only slight downside was that the pillows were rather bulky.
Vilnius has a very efficient road system for getting you out of the city, but when we first arrived, we couldn't get off the ring-road! After asking someone for directions (hey, everyone speaks English, or can use sign language!) one way to get into Zverynas suburb is to ignore the barrier on the central reservation like everyone else!
