I was in Vilnius last winter on New Year's Eve. I booked a room there because of low price. The location is quite good: about 15 minutes to centre on foot and the district is nice and interesting (many old, destroyed buildings so close to the centre!). And these are the only pluses of "Turistu Centras".
I have not been told earlier where excactly my room will be located and I find out right after my arrival. I was suprised that the room is in another building - a small brick one, which looked like it was a barn someday. But It was OK till I got inside. It was cold in there but what is most important: there was no shower in this building, only a sink and a toilet! This was the reason I decided to leave and find another place to live. In the main building there was nice bathroom, but it was quite cold inside the whole interior. In the main building I could also smell the mold in the air or something like that. And the kitchen was old, dirty and realy unpleasant.
To sum up:
- the pluses are: good location, low prices.
This place is good to stay in there in sumertime - without luxury, It is just ok. In winter - be aware of cold and a lack of shower :P
