I stood at this hostel 6 nights in May 2007. And everything seemed to be out of the list "how a hostel should be": It was very clean, the staff could really not be friendlier and helpful, the location was great, the atmosphere unique and the building itself very interesting (including a huge and nice patio and an old-fashioned, yet working elevator).
For all those who make a budget trip, this should be your first choice, as the price is really unbeatable: The very best realtionship between price-service, believe me!
And I can't say how friendly the staff (Joseph) was: Eager to help, ready to chat (if wished), knowing a bunch of foreign languages and keen to make you feel great: I can only say: Thank you, Joseph for making me feel so great!!!
