We stayed for a week at the Mellow Mood Apartment in Budapest Márton u. 23-25. Budapest,
H-1094 (District 9.)
The building was nearly new, close to the metro and the tram. The area is a bit rundown but Budapest is taken by a building fever so it won't stay that way for very long.
The flat was cleaned daily and the kitchen well equipped (oven, fridge, dishes and cooking ustensils). The bathroom contained a washing machine.
The reception was manned 24/7 and the young staff was very friendly and helpful. They speak good english so don't hesitate if you want some infos, they are very knowledgeable.
The building is equipped with Wi-Fi. We had a laptop and for no extra charge we were able to surf the net (all we had to do was ask at the reception for the settings).
The prices were very reasonnable but vary on the number of occupants.
One annoying thing is that they kept bugging us to pay every day, they can't wait until the end of your stay, and they don't take credit cards.
The best way to get to the apartment is to get the minibus service from the airport. Make sure however the driver reads the adress as there is a Mellow Mood hotel in the city centre and they might well take you there instead (guess how i know...). The cheaper way is to get the bus to the metro terminus, then it's only a few stations away.
