Spent 5 nights at the Novotel during a business/pleasure combination trip. The Novotel was my home away from home and its great location was a prime asset.
The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was very accommodating from finding laundry facilities to ordering taxis.
The night views of the Danube and Parliament were breathtaking.
Access to the Metro (and the night life on the Pest side) is within 500m of the hotel.

Really enjoyed the break and the hotel suited us very well. We were impressed by the views.
Biggest disappointment was breakfast and we stay in Novotels many times a year on business as gold card holders so we see lots of them. Service was 'reluctant' and the organisation and access to the buffet was poor. On both mornings the hot food was cold.
Reception staff were efficient and helpful.
