This is a very nice resort. The sourrounding are not that beautiful from a landscape point of view (there's the railway and a very big parking lot), but all the other aspects are just ok. the hotel is located at the far end of the camping area, the rooms are very spacious and clean, with a well sized bath, good shower gel and shampoo, and a mini bar. There's also a multi functional desk in the room. You don't have to leave your car outside the resort in the big parking lot, but there's also a smallar one just next to the hotel rooms. The camping seem ok, though we did not try it. Tents are separate from RVs, and many recreational activities are organized. Just avoid eating at the restaurant of the resort, even for breakfast: it's reasonably cheap, but just nothing special really. Right opposite to the resort entrance there's a bus stop: very modern buses stop there and bring directly to Ljubljana city centre. Don't expect luxury, but this place is really comfortable and functional.

I picked this one because it was the cheapest I could find in overpriced Ljubljana for these amenities. The room was big and comfortable. It was freezing outside, but the room was always warm and cozy. Bathroom impeccably clean. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful, spoke perfect English. I found the guy serving the breakfast rude though. Ljubljana Resort is far from the center, but several buses stop right in front of it. One can easily get to the center in 10-15 minutes by bus.

Stayed here for 2 nights and wished we hadn't bothered really! Staff were unhelpful, our room smelled of smoke, the breakfast was awful, air conditioning was extra money (although they failed to tell us this until we were checking out!). All in all not the most pleasant stay. The only good points were free parking and nice pool. The location is out of the city but it is easy to catch a bus. I think if you were camping it would be fine but don't stay in the hotel is my advice.

My girlfriend and I camped here for 3 nights at the end of peak season (beginning Sept) last year. Was a bit tricky arriving at night but bus driver (and locals) were friendly and pointed out the stop to us. I think it is the #6 you need from town to get there.

It's a nice place with lots of families and good pitches with lovely grass coverage. I can't really remember how the toilet blocks/laundry etc was, but I think they were pretty clean. Campground was pretty full when we were there but even so there was not alot of noise at night and we slept well. The resort works hard to have activities on during the day (mainly for kids), plus it is also next to a water park which is open during the Summer and would be great when you get sick of "culture" and walking tours!

Bus is only 10 mins from town (fairly frequent), and they also rent out bikes (1Euro/hr I think!) and scooters (12 Euro/day... bargain!) which I would recommend if you want to go to the zoo or have a look at Ljubjana outside the city.

Loved Slovenia, great place, beautiful, green, and nice laid back people. Make sure you get into the boreks... good stuff!
