My wife (who is Polish) found this hotel online. We had stayed at other Warsaw hotels in the past which were nice but pricey. Residence Diana was well located at a reasonable price. Our initial experience with customer service was a bit unnerving. We booked online and instead of listing us for 3 nights our confirmation was for 4 nights. When we called to fix it, the woman at the hotel was not helpful at all, which led us to nearly canceling the entire stay (except that they have a 100% cancellation fee). We eventually fixed the error online.
When we arrived, we were greeted with a warm reception. Our room (Suite) was huge, 2 bathrooms (one jacuzzi), a kitchen, bedroom, living room and dining room. The suite was larger than our NYC apartment. It is furnished modern and homey (though the room did show a bit wear and tear via broken door knows, scuffed walls and burnt out lightbulbs). The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed the large flat screen TV in the bedroom. The price was less then a typical hotel. Thought there is no sauna or pool, you are welcome to use the one at their sister hotel in the Old Town (not really practical but a nice gesture.) The hotel is centrally located and an easy walk to shopping, dining and sight-seeing. Self service laundry is available. This is also an ideal option for long term trips, as the hotel is set up as more of an apartment. Maid service is daily but limited. I suggest Residence Diana but just be careful when booking online.
