We felt very welcomed from the moment we walked in and we loved the 70’s, soviet era looks of this hotel.
Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable, with a full bathtub and an old fashion key – so much easier to find in your bag than the electronic cards that have become the norm.
If you need a last minute hair cut, there’s a hairdresser in the lobby. We haven’t tried it but we were tempted just to prolong our stay there because this hotel is very endearing thanks to its staff and the general atmosphere of a gone-by era.
We were the only customers at the restaurant and were pampered by the young waiter who served us delicious wholesome traditional Polish dishes. We must really commend the waiter for his enthusiasm for his work.
The buffet breakfast was excellent with a wide selection of traditional Polish breakfast fares such as gherkins and cucumber salad but if it's not your cup of tea there is also a great variety of pastries, bred, cereals, sausages etc.
We will remember this hotel as one of the highlights of our trip.
