The Silfor Premium is bland in style and could be anywhere, however, we had a comfortable double room with enough storage space and a large bathroom. The room had air con, a flat screen TV (only 3 English language channels, all news based), one curtain at the window and two single quilts on the bed! The breakfast had the widest choice I have ever had with hot meats & scrambled eggs, different breads, cheeses, cold meats, eggs, salad, tomatoes, pickled peppers & cucumbers, fresh fruit & yoghurt. There was also fruit juices, tea, coffee & hot or cold water. The hotel was a 15 minute walk from the city centre, there are trams but at the time we went there was major road and construction works going on, so I'm not sure. Wroclaw itself is a city undergoing renovations on quite a large scale in preparation for the 2012 European Cup and 2016 City of Culture. The main train station is being totally refurbished, so the main entrance is on the other side of the tracks - check your maps! There are also many places where road works affect the tram routes and bus stops. If you travel to Wroclaw in the summer beware the biting insects, take anti histamine tablets and cream and cover up or make sure you sit in a breeze! Fewer people in Wroclaw speak English including some of the hotel reception staff, however, there is a very helpful Tourist Information centre in the main square who can help with most things.
Room Tip: When the trams are running the rooms at the front could be noisy
