Stayed in a lovely apartment not too far from the city centre, a block's walk to the tram stops.
The check-in attendants were very charming, friendly and helpful. Felt safe as there was a security guard downstairs.
One negative thing, the apartment building is at the corner of two streets and there is a street light shining into the room, which was a little annoying at night.
All in all, highly recommended!

we stayed at crystal suites in january 2015. this was our second time in Krakow and our second time at crystal suites. as already last year we were excited about the place and the people running it. the rooms are designed and decorated with care and sensitivity for the place and its history. you can see the people in charge have a great aesthetic sense. regarding the infratsructure, sanitary installations etc. everything was in perfect condition. lastly and most importantly each one of the employees working at the reception as well as the night guard were so forthcoming, kind, engaged that we always enjoyed to come back to the apartment and have a chat or ask any question that came up during our visit in this wonderful city.

We stayed in Apartment 10 Jaspis in Old Town. Such a lovely warm duplex apartment with everything you could need for a city break. It has an unusual staircase that is a real feature. Friendly staff on arrival, during stay and on departure. They were able to give advice on supermarkets, restaurants and sights to see. Much better than a hotel as you can come and go as you please. Plenty of hot water on demand too.

Could sleep 6 so excellent value.

Room tip: Jaspis is on two levels

We travelled to Krakow for a long winter weekend to get ourselves in the mood for Christmas. We'd booked the Crystal Suites primarily because it was cheaper than a hotel, so expectations were not particularly high. We were picked up at the airport in a car arranged by the Crystal, and things just got ever better. The building was spotless, the staff delightful - and the apartment was a knockout. Two huge bedrooms, a lounge with kitchenette and a balcony overlooking the cityscape. It was a 10 minute walk to the square, half an hour to the Jewish Quarter. The city is wonderful, friendly and characterful. Having taken similar winter breaks in Prague, Berlin etc, Krakow certainly hold its own, and the Crystal Suites exceed other accommodation we have used.

Room tip: Get a room with a balcony if possible.

My partner chose this hotel based solely on TripAdvisor and we weren't disappointed!

A 40 minute bus journey from the airport, it's only a 5-10 minute walk from the bus stop and directions given on the Crystal Suite website were great.

Welcomed by a very friendly staff member and shown straight to our room, we were given a tour and she explained how everything worked - including the free private WIFI in our lounge...no fighting for signal with other rooms. We were given a key to the front door and our own door. It was clean and tidy, the bed comfortable and we were able to control our own heating temperature.

All staff were friendly, offered us advice and were on hand if needed - which we didn't really as the place was so wonderful. The little reception room had books to borrow (including guide book) and staff 9am - 9pm, with a doorman there overnight who would apparently call a manager if we needed anything during this time as he spoke no English. He was friendly though, and smiled hello.

The Suite was only 5-10 minutes walk from the Main Square and was about 1 minute from trams - not that we used any during our stay as Krakow itself is so small we walked everywhere.

It was so incredibly quiet that we heard nothing the whole stay, despite only being on the first floor, and so slept very well for the whole 3 night stay.

The apartment was well equipped with hairdryer, ironing board and iron, kettle, microwave, toaster and a fridge with two free bottles of fizzy water.

If visiting Krakow again (which we would consider for the cheapness, food, friendly people and relaxed atmosphere) we would definitely stay here again. Without hesitation.
