“A Relaxing Stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 March 2010

Stayed in the hotel for a three day break at the start of March. The hotel was quaint, very clean and the staff very helpful. The hotel is small but charming.
The room was spotless and a decent size. The hotel is ideally situated in the middle of the jewish quarter and there are plently of local restaurants, bars and other establishments close by. The staff spoke great english and overall it was nice relaxing stay.

“Good value hotel in Krakow”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 March 2010

We have just returned from a two night break at the Rubenstein. The hotel is located in the Jewish quarter which is about a 10-15 minute walk to the old town.

The rooms are large and very clean. The staff are pleasant and cant do enough for you. The breakfast is fine, with a selection of meats and breads plus somehhing cooked if required.

Unlikely to go back to Krakow but if we did we'd stay in the hotel again. A very interesting city.

“Quiet comfortable hotel with great breakfast and friendly staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 December 2009

From the moment I made a 'phone call to this hotel check on availability, I knew we had made the right choice! The receptionist was extremely polite and friendly and looked forward to welcoming us. Location is in the quiet old Jewish quarter square but only pleasant 15 minutes from the main square. The outside terrace vies for business with the many other restaurants in the square and daily specials on two for one cocktails were on offer!
We booked a family 3-bed room which was roomy enough with powerful air conditioning. The bathroom didn't have the trendy floor lighting mentioned in other rooms and the only complaint / comment I would make is that the towels were hard. Breakfast is a laid back affair and was probably one of the most comprehensive I've seen. Cooked breakfasts are cooked to order and the plentiful buffet, with plenty of smoked salmon, is restocked regularly and varied every day.
The lights in the bathroom failed one morning, mentioned it at reception, and when we came back from breakfast they had already been fixed! I would definitely recommend this hotel for its chic boutique style, quality of breakfast and polite staff.

“4 Star - you can't be serious!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 November 2009

This hotel should be 2 star or possibly 3 at a push. It is a good 20 minutes walk from the city centre through dark dodgy streets. Service can be very hit and miss depending on who's on duty. If you're unlucky enough to be given a room facing the street be prepared to be awake each morning from about 5 am as the trams clatter past until late at night. Be careful if taking a taxi from the area of the train station/shopping centre as rip off merchants operate from there and demand 10 times the legitimate fare.

“Super little apartment, great location and great value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 June 2009

A lovely apartment, in a quiet location, a fewminutes walk from the cosy and lively bars/restaurants in the jewish quarter (the best part of Krakow in our opinion, great atmosphere and v good food indeed). About 15 minutes walk from the main square and 10 minutes wlak from the rather impressive castle.

The apartment:- Very good value, great location, clean and bright, comfortable large double bed, good kitchen facilities and decent lounging/dining area. At the time of our visist, the apartment was decorated with a number of beautiful orchids, which together with the pretty chandeliers gave it a fresh and classy feel. Added plus of a washing machine!
