Ibis hotels cannot be said to have character, but they are excellent if you want a reliable standard of hotel at a reasonable price they are very good. The hotel is of the usual Ibis standard. Clean, reaosnable quality of beds and shower/bathroom. The hotel is about 2 km from the railway station. Not the greatest of locations, but fine and quiet. Apart form the centre being about 1-2 km away, there is a large Tesco 1km in the other direction. I was there on business, and the hotel was fine for my purposes.

I just returned from Czestochowa where I stayed overnight, the hotel had been recommended by my business partner :

PRO:
- pretty easy to find, good parking facilities
- hotel modern, quiet and clean
- water fountain in the lobby
- excellent offer of TV channels
- restaurant quite good but much too many dishes based on pork ...
- staff quite efficient and pleasant, they have the most cheerful receptionist I have ever seen, help you start well the day when checking out

CON:
- the town has strictly nothing to offer, except Jasna Gora if you are catholic ...

ALL IN ALL QUITE ACCEPTABLE

Significantly cheaper than the nearby Mercure hotel. We enjoyed a modern, secure, clean and comfortable stay. There is also a free monitored car park. The staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. A short taxi ride from local attractions but don't be put off by this.

Opposite to McDonalds, KFC and Tesco's but we prefered to use the hotel restuarant facilities.

Would have no hesitation in staying here again.
