“Not so perfect...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 February 2011

Very cameral hotel close to main Gdynia road and to the sea. Rooms are nice, but ventilation in the bathroom is very loud and interferes during the night. Small restaurant in the basement is also very cameral and nice. Little bit overpriced. The selection is small but good. There were only three main dishes, all meat. When we made our choice, the waiter told us that, our choice run out. Nevertheless, the dinner was very good. Our room was non smoking room but you could smell the nicotine. So, we both woke up with headache. Maybe because of the bathroom noise. Breakfast was very good, but coffee and tea weren't hot. But the selection was very good. Unfortunately, there is small meeting room just next to the restaurant and there was a meeting about to begin. Every particpant of this meeting walk among the tables, which was quite annoying, because there is little space (just four tables). And the big door to the meeting room were wide open so during our breakfast we were doomed to hearing loud greetings and bustle. This is not what you expect from small, cameral hotel. What a pity.

“A fantastic stay, welcoming service, great food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 January 2010

A great hotel, with character, prime location (next to the seaside and pier in Orlowo). Rooms are spacious and clean. Excellent service. Outstanding cuisine in my opinion deserve 5*.

“Charming Willa Lubicz”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 August 2008

Just returned from our second trip to Willa Lubicz after staying there previously 2 years ago.
Nothing has changed in the two years , we even stayed in the same rooms ... it's as good now as it was then.
If you want to escape from the large hotel chains & are looking for a hotel full of personality & quirkiness then Willa Lubicz will meet all your needs .
It is rated 3* , but far exceeds any other Polish 3* hotel that I know of ..rooms are generous with all facilities, staff are pleasant & attentive , breakfast is ok - a little short on choice would be my only complaint - but then again much of the breakfast fare is aimed at the polish clientele .

  • Liked — Good sized connecting rooms at a reasonable price
  • Disliked — Choice of food available at breakfast was limited

“The most comfortable place I have ever been.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2007

The service could not be better. The small intimate staff was willing to please and very helpful. I was moved by the amount of attention and care that was given to us during our stay. So much attention to detail. This place is not overly boastful, with that is the nature of the Polish people. Humble elegance and class.

My, I would love to be back there right now enjoying a wonderful cup of coffe with freshly steamed cream.

  • Liked — It was within walking distance to the beach.
  • Disliked — No American tv.

“Fantastic hotel!”

Oh my...I don't even know where to start...Basically we just loved it. My husband and I went there last September 03 for our belated honeymoon. We stayed at Villa Lubicz for a week, and after only one day my husband, who has never been to Poland before, wanted to stay forever. The service and hotel itself was 5*, the food was just divine and everything else was probably one of the most wonderful experiences of our lives. We have both travelled a lot but this was just creme ala creme. I have been to Poland in the past and love this country with all my heart. If you are looking for a great stay full of impaccable style, perfect service, an area full of historical things to do, and just a plain good ol' time--well then, Villa Lubicz and Poland is for you. Note: Make sure you ask the Chef (his name is Martin) at the hotel's restaurant for a genuine Polish meal...You will not regret it.
