This Best Western Hotel is located in the New Town of Prague and is only about 7 minute walk from the Old Town Square. The reception staff was friendly, their English was terrific and they went of of their way to make my stay a very pleasant one. There was always plenty of choice at the breakfast buffet and several good restaurants within a few minuets walk. I made use of the laundry service dropping my laundry at reception before 8am and had it returned by mid afternoon. I enjoyed my stafy at the Hotel Bila and would not hesitate to return again.

We wanted to stay at the Best Western Meteor Plaza but it was booked, so we "settled" for Best Western Bila Labut. I believe Bila Labut is a 4 star. I can not figure out how they came up with that! No way! But the front desk personnel were helpful and courteous. When I requested an extra pillow, it was delivered promptly. The hotel is in need of a major facelift. The carpet going upstairs is worn and frayed. The carpet in our room carpet was old and worn. And the bathroom door needed to be replaced. But it was clean. Breakfast was ample and pretty good. There was only one poor man who was in charge of clearing tables and bringing out more food...so many items on the breakfast buffet ran out and so did the coffee and hot water for tea. As for location, it was not too far from the Powder Tower and the main square. Next time I will book ahead and stay at the BW Hotel Meteor for just a few $'s more and only steps from the Powder Tower!

We had booked half board & the information on the hotel says "the restaurant offers an interesting gastronomic program, with a great choice of Czech as well as international cuisine", this was a joke! the chef had the weekend off leaving the waiter to cook for us, we sat down & had a meal of meat, potatoes & side salad plonked in front of us, followed by a piece of chocolate sponge. The same was going to happen on the next 2 evenings, until we cancelled & complained.
The room was tiny & they gave us a choice at that, saying the twin room we had was bigger than the double we had booked.
Breakfast wasn't up to much either & the waiter was putting the cereals out 9pm the night before

We experienced several issues with our stay in the Hotel. As we were traveling with a small child we asked for a quiet room and a baby cot. This was confirmed via email.
In fact we received a room towards the street, beside the elevator, above the entrance to the parking area - and without baby cot!
The staff was friendly and try to be helpful as they could however it seems that the hotel management is try to saving costs. Only one person responsible for the breakfast is not enough and so the buffet wasn't fill up on time and the tables still had crumbs and stains from previous guests.
The same about the cleanliness. We received "new" towels that had already stains and the general room cleaning was rather superficial.

We were very disappointed. This is never a 4 star hotel and from our point of view even struggle with 3 stars.
