“The Grand Tour continued”

Comfortable, warm, the view was spectacular from windows, out to the hills. Trams didn't worry us through the double glazing, but not on that side anyway. We again chose the tour bus, and were picked up from the hotel each day.
Although close to transport, used the train twice, but for me there was a lot of walking up and down the rail station. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful and dishes topped up very quickly.
Free internet and safe, little convenience shop off lobby. HINT. The French restaurant opposite the hotel does a 10 percent discount for guests, and you can also have take'away from there. We did takeaway lst night, real French Onion Soup and Quiche, dined in the next evening.

Room Tip: Our room faced up the ? street to the hills, past a beautiful old church. Very quiet outlook, no tra...

Really nice, very well managed hotel on perfect location, 15 mins walk to The Charles bridge and a bit more to Lesser town just across the bridge over Vltava. For those tired of walking, Metro and tram station just down the street on the Palackeho Namesti.
Decent size room with comfortable bed, modern tv set, coffee tea maker, small fridge, clean and spotless,
Reception and breakfast room staff really professional, helpfull and efficient, but most important of all very nice and kind, doing all with smile.
Highly reccomended,

Room Tip: Had room on the 5th floor (503) with large windows and great view to nearby church. Even on the stre...

“good place to stay.”

This is a good hotel, very clean with a better than average breakfast, plenty of choice with hot and cold buffet. Its a bit of a walk into the old town, but we didn't mind that. Local transport is very good as well. Make sure you take good walking shoes as the cobbled pavements, which are very nice to look at, play havoc with your feet.

“nice hotel for weekend break”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 November 2011

Recently visited prague for week end break rooms good size room and was nice to have a balcany. Even though on tram line but quiet.Did request a double but got 3 single beds and mattersses were very soft. Breakfast was good and had good variety and simple (cereals/ fruit/ yogurt / eggs suasges/ variety of breads). Is a tram journey away form the main tourist spots did not try walking into town but could be a nice long walk along the river bank. Staff very helpful and both day and night staff had good english. There is one resturant accross the road but better to have dinner in tourist area as likely to get more choices there. Reviews below were very helpful in getting to hotel as BMI flight was late just caught the last bus at 11.00 pm to tram station and in time for last metro. No one available at the airport to buy tickets and even machines were not working. We just went on the bus as every one was doing the same but then can buy tickets for 24hrs at train station. Taxi at that time of night cost 600 cronas into town. When you get off the metro just take exit E7 and walk away from the river cant miss the hotel then as its a big station and lots of exits.
At night their is a light show at the astonomical clock worth seeing it as well. we saw the one at 9.00 pm not sure if happens every hour.

“Loved it!!”

It's a great hotel, very clean and tidy! Great buffet breakfast, a choice of hot food and a Continental breakfast, fresh tea and coffee on tap, along with 4 or 5 different types of juices. The hotel is well located for getting around Prague. The tram system is excellent, and there are 2 stops very close to the hotel. The metro is very close too!
You can get to the hotel quite easily from the airport for about £4 per person! We had a deluxe room - the rooms was a good size with twin beds, a flat screen tv (with 3 or 4 English speaking channels), and a good ensuite. The rooms were cleaned every day. The staff were very friendly, and I would happily stay there again!!
