We stayed here in 2007, and loved the decor of the hotel.

The big flat screen TV was a plus and the service was worthy of a Marriott.

The hotel is located in old town with a lot of old, rustic buildings nearby. There is also a subway/metro station close, so you can easily access any part of town without having to heavily reach into your pocket!

Of course it helped that my companion fluently spoke the language, otherwise I might have been a little bit lost in town. At the hotel itself everyone spoke good English, and they made me feel right at home.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to any Marriott fan, or anyone seeking accommodation in Prague!

Very helpful staff, location great, no free internet.

Let me start by saying that my Marriott Gold status and perks definitely influenced this review. The evening snacks & drinks, as well as a nice breakfast spread, made my stay at the Marriott very nice. The room was about average, nothing too special. It was clean and of a good size. I was annoyed to not have a clock in the room. The only clock is built in to the TV and is on a display about 1" tall. Hard to see at night if you're in bed.

Internet connection was reliable but usually slow, even in the lounge.

Location was great. Very easy to walk to anywhere I wanted in Prague from the hotel. Concierge and all staff were very helpful with directions to wherever I wanted to go.

Best part of the hotel, in my experience, was the location. When I go back to Prague I'll probably stay here again or at the Hilton across the street. Both were very good locations.

Marriott Hotel in Prague is situated in the centre of old town (a touristic place) with just about 5 to 10 minutes walk from one place of attraction to another. A great thing about Prague is that almost everything looks like a place of attraction, the old medieval buildings are really beautiful. For the deluxe room, there were two queen size beds which aren't up to standard, an office desk, standard bathrooms etc. The bad side is that the beds and pillows are too soft for comfort. The yellow carpets bright up the room but the color wasn't to my fancy (the color looks pretty dirty). Internet wasn't included in the price too. The restaurant wasn't up to standard - it had one of the worst wines i've tasted. Also, the room was really warm with hardly any cold air from the air conditioner and worst part - you can't change the temperatures.

The people at the reception were really helpful and knowledgable with a good command of english. Overall, it was a comfortable stay in Prague but there's still room for improvement for the hotel.
