“Excellent value for money, modern and romantic at the same time!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 February 2012

It was very clean, and well outfitted, comfortable and nicely decorated. Excellent value for money, modern and romantic at the same time!

Breakfast was nothing special, but you won't be disappointed. Also toilet was behind a loose glass door and thus felt awkvard. Also the room felt a bit small due to the sloped roof.

The staff were very polite and helpful, friendly even!
Location is excellent when using the tram network in the town.

Walking to city center can be a bit far, though.

We loved this hotel and recommend it to young couples!
This place is a jewel! :)

Room Tip: Maybe get a room without a sloped roof, it felt a bit cramped with it. (although it was still good w...

“Fantastic Service”

We've just come back from the Red & Blue Hotel and I had to review the great service we received. All the staff are so helpful and courteous. The ladies on reception went out of their way to sort a problem in the room with the fridge when we checked in, even letting us pick a different room to stay in until the problem was resolved.

Every room is slightly different (I got to peek in a few!) and we were given an executive room which was very spacious.

The location is perfect, lovely and quiet; ideal for Petrin Park and the Castle (same side of the river) and only 10mins walk away from the hustle and bustle of Charles Bridge and the Old Square on the other side. I intended to buy a 3 day travel pass but we walked everywhere instead, which we found was the best way to explore the city (even in -12 degrees!).

On the last day we got the nearby funicular railway to the top of Petrin hill then had a leisurely walk down to the tower, monastery and castle, stopping off for hot wine and grog on the way to warm up! A much easier trip than trying to stuggle up the steep stairs and slopes from the town!

We also had a night at the Opera to see La Traviata, I have never been to see an opera before, the State Opera House is stunning and tickets were so cheap it was a wonderful thing to do in Prague

Vegetarians don't get much choice on traditional Prague menus though-be prepared for lots of fried cheese and potato soup! (or stick to more European restaurants-we had the nicest meal of our stay in the Artisan at the bottom of the hill) But the beer everywhere is excellent!

It's a lovely romantic chic hotel and we would definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: Rooms at the front look across the road to the park, but are slighlty smaller. Rooms at the back lo...

“AMAZING HOTEL!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 February 2012

I stayed in this hotel with my family for 5 days in January. I decided to stay in this hotel because when I emailed them with questions, they answered me right away and were very helpful. And I was not dissapointed!!

First of all, the personell at the hotel is simply amazing: very helpful, speaking english and spanish, and willing to do everything in their hands to make our stay better. The check in was extremely fast, they picked us and back from the airport for an acceptable fee, and they booked a car for us for a very good prize, with delivery to the hotel door.

The hotel itself is in a very good area, 20 minutes away walking to the Charles Bridge and all the interesting places, and 10 minutes away from the river. Very quiet and comfortable. It has high speed free wifi, and the rooms are very new, very clean, with heating and air contitioning, spaciois and complete bathrooms, free safe deposit, and very pretty. And the beds are amazingly comfortable!!!

The breakfast was included and it's a great buffet: not too big but with variety and quality.

All in all, a great stay that I would reccomend to anyone!!!!!

Room Tip: Triple rooms and HUGE!

“Perfect hotel in Prague!”

I loved to stay in Red and Blue Design Hotel in Prague because it was clean, warm, comfortable, very nice equipped and perfectly located in the city. The staff from the reception were friendly as well as the kitchen team. But this is not the only thing: before my arrival I asked if I could have had a special breakfast because I am a vegan and they really did prepare a special breakfast for me and even the chief cook went to ask me if everything was ok! This I consider really professional behaviour and will surely come back! My boyfriend and me missed nothing and were completely satisfied. Congratulations for so nice hotel!!
