Together with my wife, I spent 4 days in The Augustine, must say, one of the best hotel I ever stayed.
We started with airport transfer by hotel limousine, perfectly organized, friendly driver and outstanding car (Audi A8). Warm welcome at the reception and private hotel tour.
The location is very nice, a bit hidden, but only max. five minute walk to Charles bridge and also Hradschin is not far away. A lot of restaurants close to the hotel. Only negative aspect is the entrance to hotel area is quite dangerous because of suddenly passing trams.
Our room was very spacious (even we "only" had a standard room"), good bathroom, enough space in the wardrobe, and very nice interiors. A perfect combination of modern elements and ancient building, kind of design room, but even very warm and homelike.
Breakfast at the Litchfield restaurant wonderful, buffet is continental, but you can choose out of a huge a la carte choice of hot meals (eggs, pancakes, ...). Service very friendly and obliging.
Every day we visited the bar, also here, nothing to complain! Good Drinks, delicious St. Thomas beer, perfect service and really special atmosphere (old wallings, modern photographs and lounge music), could spend all the night there!
Had one (late) dinner at the brewery bar (sadly not open every day), also here good atmosphere, friendly waitress and very delicious snacks (but could not find the famous bohemia tapas).
My wive spent half a day at the spa (while I enjoyed the bar - my kind of spa), and she also was satisfied with interiors, products, advices and lovely staff.
So, I really haven't nothing to complain, the hotel is definitely a reason to visit Prague once more.
