We stayed here for 1 week the food was the worst we have had in any hotel, the breakfast was always cold no fried eggs the toaster didn't work most days,the bacon wasn't cooked. The evening meal was a big let down and cold.

We stayed two nights while traveling the "Costa Brava." The hotel is located at the entrance of Roses outside the city center. We went during the fall, you can tell that the town is a summer tourist destination. The hotel is a average 3 star borderline 2 star hotel. The breakfast was included in the rate and it offered hot items (eggs, etc.) at room temperature (i.e. cold). I would definitely recommend having breakfast somewhere else or just having some fruits and breads (stay away from the coffee). The rooms are ample but the beds are just single ones put together.

I chose this hotel for its value and location for a quick break and wasn`t disappointed despite the weather. I arrived by bus, train & bus via Girona and Figueres with all transport on time. After a quick aperitif at a local Bodega i enjoyed my buffet dinner, plenty of choice and at 7 Euros a bargain! Also 8 Euros for a bottle of decent House Red great value!
After a very comfortable and quiet night, breakfast was more than adequate and at 2 Euros how could anyone complain? I then had a good look at the bay of Roses before boarding a bus to the delightful Cadaques. This is lovely unspoilt town where i had a wonderful lunch at "Nord Est" of prawns & mussels, 30 Euros but worth every penny!
This puts into perpective as to what good value the Goya Park is!
My main reason however for choosing thie area was to go to the Salvador Dali Museum at Figueres. Easily reached by bus it was awesome. 11 Euros entry to see so much great art was also good value. Allow at least 2 hour as there is a lot to see! Then on to Gigona to visit the old town, which again is a must.
As my Ryanair flight was only £20, all in all an excellent trip away!

My Wife and I booked this hotel through Diamond Coach Holidays. We believed this hotel to be a good 4 star, this clearly is not the case. I have travelled all over the world and stayed in all types of accommodation and this one left a lot to be desired! The food was cold and uneatable also very little choice. The staff need a course in customer care; they were extremely surley! Hotel corridors and rooms are very noisey at night, ear plugs are recommended. We stayed at the Novotel on route to Spain, this hotel is 4 star standard not like the Prestige Goya Park!
