This was our second trip here and our friends' third.All 4 of us play golf and enjoy good food and we found again that the hotel the food the golf and especially the service were all first class.We had 10 days here and played golf 8 times.Nothing was too much trouble room was very comfortable although we found the air conditioning a bit faulty.

booked a couple of rooms, both good quality,
free safe, tea and coffee, plenty space, nice bathrooms, part sea view part golf course,
sarah checked us in very nice pleasant, very informal,
beds comfortable, probably best sleep ive had , nice and quiet,

breakfast reasonable, part buffet , part cooked, fresh orange juice,
one waitress (glasses) v pleasant, one other either not happy or didnt like our faces,

very pleasant pool and so peaceful, apart from some of the background music,
but thats been over fussy
therein lies the problem
being a 5 star i believe is a rod for its back,
5 star has to live up to that expectations, and i think thats a hard task for a small hotel
and also i think some of the slightly negative posts stem from the fact they expect
5 star all the way,
i believe its a decent 4 star,
i had evening meal 3 times the rest at the sheraton,
was well cooked, very nice but for me it wasnt quite enough food, but thats a personal preferance i have for a decent buffet rather than al a carte
you need a car, in my opinion,
but mainly thats because i like to see the entire island i`m visiting, i wouldnt have believed you could do 1,200km in a week on fuerteventura, but thats what i did.

peace and quiet round the pool,
comfortable sunbeds,
i was very happy with the choice
but the great strength of this hotel
the manager
he was everywhere
breakfast,
dinner, very nice chap, and a very good advert for the Elba group
the maids very good
daego was as well,
and the lady who cleans the lamps, hoses outside and in the courtyard
well she never stopped working, she needs a pay rise!
and sara who gave us a 5 hour extension on the room,
made such a difference

Us: 50 year old couple who love good food and company. the hotel: we found it match our requirements almost exactly. My husband plays golf so he played every other day - he thought the course was great. I am not a golf player, so used the gym, or relaxed by the pool. Good things (in our opinion) pool, staff are brilliant, food is excellent, hotel has a brilliant colonial feel about it. We saw people turned away from thereataurant for wearing shorts and flip flops (we liked this). Medium things (in our opinion) gym equipment is not too good, entertainment is of a high quality, however it is a pianist every night - some variety would have been a little better. Bad things - the drinks are a little pricey but you'd expect it withinh such a quality establishment.

Stayed for one week in September 2011. Hotel very well equipped, we had a deluxe double room overlooking the golf course and also had a sea view it was perfect the decorwas a bit tired in places an the tv and dvd dated with limited English channels, Lovely clean Hotel, room service everyday with clean towels. Towels provided for the pool each time. All reception staff extremely helpfull and friendly. Pool area very clean and relaxing. Would not say 5star tho.possibly 4 star more like. We went half board to be able to get discount at the golf club on fees. Breakfast was adequate selection of things cooked fresh eggs as requested. Also hot coffee on request as well. Evening dinner was okay with a buffet style for starters and choice of sweets, main course cooked as requested from the menu, would not say a lot of variety if you do not like fish. We chose to eat out three nights out of seven, not because of bad quality just not enough variety. The entertainment was of high standard with a great piano bar singer, which was nice to sit back at night and relax to. Very pretty at night to relax in. great location to get a way from the main town which is only 5 -10mins by taxi at a cost of approx 3-5 euros we did hire a car tho because we ae very familar with the area and like to go to the Dunes. This was our first time here but would definately come back, we we had a wonderfull stay there. I think possibly Adults only hotel possibly for the more mature couples because of how quiet it is.
