The Olympic lagoon is a fantastic resort. We stayed for two weeks at the end of October. We had our wedding on the 27th at the hotel and we all had an absolutely fantastic day.

On our arrival at the hotel, we were taken to our room that had a partial pool view, but was quite noisy at night, which wasn’t great. We tried to get moved to another room but due to the hotel being full we had to stay put for a couple of days. But sally the hotel wedding co-ordinator managed to get us moved to the fisherman’s village a couple of days later, what a difference, its like being at a different hotel, no noise, adults only, private pool and the rooms are 1st class. Four-poster bed, a spa bath and generally very nice indeed.

The hotel really look after you, the food is great, lots of choice and something for everyone. The entertainment is pretty good too; something on every night at different parts of the hotel so you should be able to find something you might like to watch.

Our two wedding co-ordinators, Sally and Laura were really very good. Nothing was too much trouble for them, they gave off a feeling of confidence and assurance that made you feel as if you didn’t have anything to worry about, and that everything would run like clockwork, which it did. If anybody is thinking that its something they might like to do, do it. Our wedding at the hotel was brilliant, the whole day was the best day of our lives and we can honestly say you won’t be disappointed.

If you are looking for a family hotel and a great place to have your wedding then look no further than the Olympic lagoon. What a fantastic place.

I have recently returned from my holiday where the hubby and i got married. As neither of us have ever been to Cyprus i did have my concerns about getting married here but as soon as we arrived at the hotel i realised i had nothing to worry about!! The hotel was amazing with plenty of facilities, the staff were always so helpful and friendly & i got to have wedding i had always wanted - the wedding team were amazing, nothing was every a problem and they delivered everything we asked for. I would also liked to say a special mention to our photographer Duncan Cox of DC Photography. Duncan managed to capture the entire day without us even knowing he was around, he also took us off to other areas around Cyprus to take more shots around the island. We have now received our wedding book and it is everything i hoped for. If you are getting married in Cyprus i would highly recommend both this hotel and photographer.

Me and my boyfriend came here in August 2011... We were amazed when we arrived it looked really posh and very up to date.. It was a very nice hotel we had a superior room with a balcony over looking the pool.. It was a gorgeous view and the room was so nice. We thought the entertainment was a bit cheesy but I suppose on holiday it doesn't matter too much. Pools were lovely and big and I loved the fact there was just an adult pool.service great..buffet food gets a bit boring after a while but the other restaurants in the hotel were nice .. Wasn't too keen on the American diner food tho... Overall a very nice holiday and really would go back again! Recommend it to couPles and families

I never usually write reviews but I read the reviews on this hotel before booking and they 100% made up my mind to book this hotel because they were so great,and they were so right!the real highlights were the hotel building and layout,the outdoor space was gorgeous, it was lovely that you could always eat outside and the adult only bar was fantastic to sit outside and relax in the evening!the pools were fab, plenty of sun loungers tho we did go in oct so it may have been busier in peak times!the lazy river was a great feature too!rooms were fine, nothing amazing but the rest of the hotel had the wow factor so it didn't matter at all!another wow factor was the food I've been too two all inclusives before and by the end of the week had been sick of the food,not here!the food was amazing, so varied, 3 special restaurants to go too as well which were great but the food in the main restaurant was very very good, we really looked forward to our meals and would have stayed another week and still have been happy with the variation!another thing I was very impressed by was the drinks menu it was endless I've never drank so many amazing cocktails, all freshly made up, I have found in other hotels they limit what you can have for all inclusive but here the choice was fab!we just relaxed on this trip really and hotel was perfect for this but entertainment was good too, plenty of live good music and good music quiz at night!we haven't got children but looked like a great deal of entertainment for families too!overall fab holiday, weather great, location great, clean impressive hotel and food fantastic, couldn't recommend this hotel more!
