I just spent 1 night there in July but I was highly impressed by this hotel. Usually, I don't expect much from a chain hotel - even if I often choose chain hotels for my business trips as they guarantee at least a certain quality.
This hotel has been recommended to me by a colleague so I booked there. Location is in Eschborn, a little outside of Frankfurt but with good public transfer so no issue there as I was by train (You'll find free busses from the commuting train station to all locations in Eschborn but this hotels was just 10 min away - easy walking distance). Many international companies are situated in Eschborn and the hotels there are prepared for international business travellers.
I got a warm and friendly welcome arriving late in the evening, I could even choose my room preverence (not ususal practise for just one night stay).
The room was a standard room, not very spacious but everything done with nice, relaxing and warm colors which gave the standard Accour group hotel room a kind feeling "like home". Room and bathroom were spotless clean, shower gel, body lotion etc fresh and nicely arranged in the bathroom.
I went down to the restaurant looking for some food (as I wrote, it was quite late in the evening) - no issue there, good choice on the menu but I was asking for some vegetarian food. The chef recommended some veggi options I could choose from which were not on the menu and after a short while my food arrived - all freshly cooked, friendly served and really delicious. And this was really outstanding as I never expect this kind of extra service and high quality, especially not from a chain hotel (where I usually end up with a salad and some bread).
This area of Eschborn has no nightlife, just office buildings and hotels, so it was very quiet from the outside and I could sleep very well, even with the window open.
Breakfast the other morning was excellent and I could start the day very relaxed.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. Both quality and service are setting benchmarks for business hotels (not only for Mercure I guess). I know that just one night stay doesn't say everything about a hotel but I'll come back to this place next time to compare :-)
