My boyfriend and I thought we would treat ourselves! We had heard about Beedelup House from a friend it sounded great. After a phonecall we were booked in for the weekend! The drive from Perth was lovely, especially the five km before you arrive at Beedelup. We were enchanted by the Forrest it had been raining and the smells were amazing the friendly hosts Bev & Ken were very inviting! So are the resident chickens! We stayed in Tudor house because my partner likes that style and let my say he wasn't disappointed!! The building and the furnishings are amazing!! Our stay was beautiful, and I left with a little more then I came with .... A fience!! Thank you Bev & Ken for the most wonderful weekend away. We will be back maybe even for the honeymoon

After a wondrous five day stay at the Beedelup Cottages I am truly refreshed. What a beautiful spot; an amazing setting; and what care has been taking on the cottages! It truly seems unreal being right out in the rich Beedelup/ Karri Valley forest. Only a short trek to the local attractions (We enjoyed some of the wineries and national park scenic tours); and 20 min to town (permberton). I highly recommend for anyone wanting a true holiday, the accommodation is like none I have ever stayed at (and of couse fully self contatined which is always a must!). Look forward to staying again next holiday!

We stayed in one of the gorgeous stone cottages - Gretel. The cottage is split level and the wood details demonstrate true craftmanship which is symbolic for this area. It was pure luxury with the spa and expecially with the brekkie, wine and chocs we had included.
There are lots of activities in the area - and a lawn tennis court and swimming pool on site. It overlooks Karri Valley lake and is near to the waterfall (not much water running when we went) which you can walk too.
Whilst it was a special occassion - we will definitely return. The hosts are really lovely too and go out of your way to ensure your experience is perfect.

My husband wanted to sweep me away for 3 nights during my 30th birthday so we ended up staying at the Woodcutters cottage.
We both loved everything about it. The age (yet clean and well maintained), friendly owners (ask Ken for recommendation on wine), isolation (privacy!) and how they've maintained the individual look. Its hard to find wood fire in a cottage now a days. This place offers you both the wood fire and reverse cycle ac. The kitchen was also well stocked to a point he could bake roast lamb as well!

Negative - there no room service, phone, or replaying clean linen/towels until you check out! Luckily we were there for only 3 nights. Anything longer would be a disaster.
Wood was not replaced until second night. We had to go next door and grab some of their wood instead.
Bathroom amenities are kept to minimal only (have hair dryer, soap)

Location wise - fantastic. Its situated away from the city but only 10mins drive away it you need phone reception. As well, just 2mins drive you'll reach the Tree climb.

You would enjoy this place if you truly want some time away from the city's hustle bustle.
