First stay at this park joining family who have annual visit with a group of 4 vans over last 3 years. We booked an ensuite van site which was well presented and clean; drive through concrete pad for van and annex surrounded by mowed lawns, shady trees and sites well spaced; paved driveways; execellent new camp kitchen fully equipped and maintained; Rec room, pool and kids play ground not used but also appeared well equipped and maintained. Centrally located to all town facilities but still relatively quiet and beaches within a short drive. Service and general maintenance was very good. We had no issues with facilities but noticed neighbouring site had new hot water system to ensuite as soon as they had a problem. Overall a very pleasant break from the city and we have rebooked with the rest of our party for next year despite peak season prices which I understand are due for an increase 2/12.

First time we have stayed at this park. Enjoyed it very much ,liking the layout and the space for the caravans. It was lovely and quiet too. Only short distances to the rest of the city.The park staff were very friendly and helpfull. We will come back again in the not too distant future. Big 4 is always the best wherever we go!

We come to Albany every summer and this is the first time we have tried Albany Gardens. Even though it is further from beaches than other parks, it is hidden away and very quiet. The kangaroos and emu make you feel like you are at a rural retreat!
We stayed in a chalet which was well equipped with a bathroom and kitchenette, enough beds for six people and all linen and towels. Everything was beautifully presented and the chalet had plenty of windows to let the breeze through, and a good air conditioner if needed. We couldn't get pressure out of the shower at first, but a handyman was sent straight away and we worked out that there was a pressure adjuster on the shower head, so no drama!
My 7 year old had a ball riding his scooter around and playing in the playground - he rates the monkey bars very highly.
We didn't get to use the pool, rec room or BBQ area, but they all looked good.
I did a week's worth of washing in the laundry and found the machines to be quick and very efficient, and there was plenty of line space.
Why not 5/5? Simply because the price gets bumped up over school holidays, and as a teacher that is the only time I can get away.
Apart from that, a great place for families to stay. We will be back.

Had a great holiday ,booked for 6 days and was lucky enough to have a couple of days extra
very friendly and very very helpfull management team right down to the young girls doing the cleaning .
Have booked for Easter and are looking forward to staying at Albany gardens holiday resort
again . If you are going to Albany stay at this place you wont be sorry.
