We stayed in apartment 104 which was a very clean and comfortable apartment.
Private balcony with views from the beautiful uni buildings and across the harbour.
Bathroom included a bath and plenty of room in the vanity to spread out for a week's stay. King size bed was comfortable and only flaw was that the pillows were too fluffy!
Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook a couple of meals and even had oil which was lucky because we forgot to buy some! :)
Lounge had a good sized TV and plenty of DVDs and books but the weather was so good, we didn't need to use them at all.
Very handy location. We'd definitely stay here again.

Well located near York and Stirling terrace. Big IGA across the parking lot, cafes and bars in short walking distance, what more could you want. A comfortable apartment? Well here it is. Large sitting room and good kitchen, and bedroom suite with balcony so you can watch the grain trains go by. Train did wake us up one night as the tracks are very close by. But it really sort of added to the charm.

The apartment I refer to is 106 Foreshore Apartment, which is run by Albany Harbourside Apartments. There are several other apartments on the block.
106 is very comfortable and had everything you could possibly require, including air con, coffee, tea, milk sugar and even a free bottle of wine. A large flat screen tv, DVD player and radio.
Very clean and comfortable with a lovely balcony overlooking the ocean and one can see the beautiful sun sets from there.
Please do not confuse this apartment with others in the same block. I would most definitely return to this apartment should we ever visit Albany again.

Room tip: Apartment 106 owned by Albany harbourside Apartments.

We reached McLean House at night time, the area was quiet, dark and windy. I opened the French door and walked along the verandah, passed by a few empty rooms' windows to the end of the house in order to enter the Garden Room. Quite spooky though. The key of the room is locked in a key-pin box which I think is a very good idea.

The interior of the room is very nicely decorated and clean; The painting on top of the fireplace, the furnitures and the quilt cover are nicely chosen for the room to create the comfortable and warm atmosphere. They have books, DVD, TV and board games for us to pass time.

The bathroom / toilet is nicely decorated and clean too. They have all the necessary items, bath towels, hairdryer and a local made hand-made soap which I love it very much. I had a comfortable warm shower in a cold night.

The bed is very comfortable and warm, we had a very good night sleep for the next morning's journey. But because that night was very windy, so we heard some squeaky door hinge sound cause by the wind. Quite spooky though but still alright.

Next morning I had a better view of the room after I opened the window and the area around the house. The view is awesome! You can see the stunning views over the city and Princess Royal Harbour.

I will definitely stay in McLean House Garden Room when I visit Albany again!

Room tip: If you travel with a group of friends of family, you may rent the whole McLean House.

I come to Albany on business every month and stay at Vermeer 102 .This apartment is very clean and though the bathroom is not mordern it is spotless.I find Vermeer a real home from home.Unfortunately for the owners there is privately owned apartments at the Foreshore that are not up to this standard,I too have made this mistake.I would reccommend that you make sure it is Vermeer 102 you are booking,it is cosy and well equipt.

Room tip: Choose Vermeer,no views but very comfy
